Leto is a famous dish of the Santali tribe. It is made up of sim jil (chicken) and grinded rice (holong). The chicken is boiled and fried(by choice). Then it is mixed with the grinded. Leto is cooked on special occasions like Sakrat. The dish is a crucial part of Santali culture.

Ol Chiki is the official script of Santali language. It was invented by Pt. Raghunath Murmu. What makes it stand out it is the representation of letters through shapes. It is written from left to right. It has thirty letters. Ol Chiki remains to be a matter of pride and identity for Santals.
